Okay, now a little randomness!
Thursday happens to be one of my favorite days of the week for two reasons: 1. Think Outside The Blog Hop and 2. Scandal.
Do you watch Scandal? I do and I can't deny that all the drama really sucked me in. I didn't think I was going to like the show as much as I do. I started watching it because it was created and produced by Shonda Rhimes, who is amazing by the way. She also created Grey's Anatomy. And because Kerry Washington is in it, she plays the character of Olivia Pope.
Yes, that is a picture of Kerry Washington and I. I actually got to meet her when I was attending UCLA. I went to an Obama rally in 2008 and she was there. She was nice enough to take a picture with me. Kinda cool, huh? Living in LA has it perks.
Anyways, the show can get really really steamy. Like soap status steamy. I mean the scenes with the President and Olivia Pope are just hot. The plot twists are awesome. You just don't know what to expect week to week. And the fact that the creator is the first African American women to create and executive-produce her own TV show is just the cherry on top.
What is there not to love?

Melissa, I've never heard of Scandal. It sounds like a show I'll have to check out! You went to UCLA, eh?
